Words from Senior Partner, Anthony J. Aveni.........

For more than 65 years our firm has been a pillar of the community, providing legal solutions on a variety of issues throughout Northeast Ohio.

The original founders of the firm, Charles E. Cannon and Wayne R. Milburn reitired in 2002 and 1975 respectively.  Both have since passed away.

I was invited to join the firm by my good friend Charlie Cannon in 1975.  Together we served the Greater Lake County area, both professionally and philanthropically.  Our firm continues to maintain its commitment to providing excellent service to our clients and the community as a whole.

I continue to focus my practice in the areas of real estate, estate planning and probate law.  Currently we are a firm of four attorneys.

In 2003, my cousin, Benjamin L. Aveni, joined the firm.  Benjamin not only practices real estate, estate planning, and probate law, but also founded our affiliated business known as Lake County Attorney's Title Agency, L.L.C.

Former partner, Timothy P. Cannon resigned from the firm in 2007 when he had the priviledge to be appointed by the Ohio State Governor as Judge of the 11th District Court of Appeals.  He currently presides over Lake, Geauga, Ashtabula, Portage and Trumbull counties serving his second term.

Although the firm has undergone many changes over the years, we continue to be dedicated to serve the legal needs of Lake County and the Greater Norteastern Ohio communities.
